U.S. growers are forecast to produce 13.7 billion bushels of corn this year, according to the Crop Production report issued today by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). Despite a 4 percent decrease from last year’s production, if realized, this will be the third largest production on record.
