EPA warns 30pc of wells contaminated with E. coli

Two thirds of private wells are at risk from E. coli contamination. Poorly constructed wells and inadequate monitoring of water supplies are putting peoples’ health at risk, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has warned.
