Taoiseach will make late dash to defend Irish farm and rural EU grant funds

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will dash from Leinster House this evening to crucial EU budget talks leading a rearguard action to stave off 19pc cuts in farm funds which could cost the average Irish farmer up to €300 per month.
