It is hard to look forward towards what might make the headlines without making actual predictions. Yet, predicting the future is tricky and is often just a mug’s game. Looking back on 2019, an accurate prediction that could have been made about the year ahead was: ‘I have seen the future and it is a lot like the present, only longer.’
