Cut slaughter age for ‘quick win’ on emissions – ICBF

Reducing the slaughter age of cattle would be a ‘quick win’ for the beef sector in its battle to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, according to Dr Andrew Cromie, ICBF’s technical director.
