It’s amazing how small incidents which happen to us in our youth can stay with us for the rest of our lives. Such an incident happened to me when I was about 13. One day in school I was called out of class to be informed of the death of a favourite uncle of mine. Of course I was upset and on returning to the classroom, not wishing to disturb the class, I sat at a desk at the back of the classroom closest to the door.
