After the deadline for offers passed on a 101ac grass farm at Leamlara near Cork City, Eamonn O’Brien of CCM had a healthy crop of envelopes to deal with. The farm, with accommodation for up to 150 cattle and farm payments of €16,500 per annum, was sold within days and is believed to have made in the region of €12,000/ac.
